EdMon · Pricing

Three ways to buy

Same product, same onboarding, same support behind all three. What changes is how you pay for volume — by the hour, as one price for a production, or as one price for the whole company.

Option one

Pay as you go

You pay for the hours you put in. Nothing to commit to and nothing to estimate up front.

€40 / hour

List price · per ingested hour

  • No commitment, no minimum
  • Start now, stop whenever
  • Pay only for what you ingest

Best for a first production, or volume you cannot predict yet.

Option two

Fixed production price

One price for one production, agreed before you start. It does not move with the week-to-week volume.

One fixed price

Set from the production’s hours

  • One line in the budget, signed off before the shoot
  • No reconciliation when the edit is done
  • The edit stops being metered

Best for a production with a known shape and a locked budget.

Option three

Fixed company price

One price for everything your company puts through EdMon. Ingest as many hours as you want, across every production.

Unlimited hours

Set from your total volume

  • Every production, every team, no hour counting
  • Add a show without a new negotiation
  • One number for the whole year’s planning

Best for broadcasters, post houses and production companies running several shows at once.

Options two and three

How we set the price

Both fixed prices start in the same place: an estimate of hours. Tell us roughly how much material you expect to put in, and the rate comes down from list as the volume goes up. An approximate figure is enough — we would rather agree a price on a rough number than leave you on list while we wait for a precise one.

Pay as you go

€40 / hour

Charged per ingested hour, with nothing committed up front.

What we need from you

  • For a production price: the total hours you expect to ingest, start to finish.
  • For a company price: roughly how many productions you run at once, and what they ingest in a normal week.
  • Either way: how firm the schedule is. A steady slate prices better than a volatile one.
The company price is the one that scales. A small production would never reach a volume discount on its own. Inside a company deal its hours cost nothing extra — they are already covered.

All three options

What is always included

  • Unlimited users — your whole team, no licence count
  • Unlimited storage, with no storage fees
  • Full onboarding process
  • Dedicated support through onboarding and implementation
  • Works with Avid and Premiere
  • Transcribes all major languages
Nothing here is metered except ingest. Your team can grow, your material can sit as long as the production needs it, and neither one changes what you pay. That is why the only number we ever need to talk about is hours.

Add-on · Sits on top of any of the three

AI Rough Cut Templates

We build custom rough cut templates for specific productions, formats and workflows — so the first assembly comes out already shaped like your show, not like a generic edit.

Priced separately from ingest, and it depends on the complexity of the production. We work through the format with you before quoting.

Why it sits outside the hour rate. Template work is a one-off build against your format, not something that scales with volume. Charging it per ingested hour would bill you twice for the same thing.

€40 is the list price. The other two exist to get you under it.

Tell us roughly how many hours you expect to put in, and we will come back with a fixed price for the production, for the company, or both.
